In fact we wont trust any governing body in Canada. They have the ability to make and break laws at will. It is a very precedent, Future immigrants would do better by avoiding this country.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-12928836097816661312012-04-09T14:09:11.651-07:002012-04-09T14:09:11.651-07:00Give me some Danielle DollarsGive me some Danielle DollarsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-73343265145793819852012-04-07T17:27:06.315-07:002012-04-07T17:27:06.315-07:00Jem you sound like a racistJem you sound like a racistAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-26347116984542576542012-04-07T11:17:31.855-07:002012-04-07T11:17:31.855-07:00PC platform is up, NDP is nextPC platform is up, NDP is nextAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10165007219715799376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-78341051881743922252012-04-03T19:16:20.834-07:002012-04-03T19:16:20.834-07:00do you plan to post platforms from the other part...do you plan to post platforms from the other parties in the days leading up to the election?Owaisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-42666863308349689872012-04-01T20:26:47.508-07:002012-04-01T20:26:47.508-07:00Voting NDP to make sure that we get continued fund...Voting NDP to make sure that we get continued funding for education and public servicesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-44900890612401217372012-03-29T17:49:49.388-07:002012-03-29T17:49:49.388-07:00My main issue this election is royalties. I'm going to vote for the party that I believe will raise royalties by the greatest amount so as to better shift the wealth generated by the oil sands into the public purse.

Being in St. Albert, I'm expecting the race in this riding to be mainly a Wildrose/PC race. However, the Alberta Party candidate here, Tim Osborne, is putting on a strong campaign - I've seen more of his signs up than the PCs, and I've met him personally a couple of times and he seems like a really solid dude. I'm supporting the NDP, but if the right-wing split lets Tim Osborne come up the middle for a win, I'll be pleasantly surprised.ATraynorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17667481753647148053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-59171287831524997422012-03-28T13:56:05.879-07:002012-03-28T13:56:05.879-07:00The Alberta Party is also fielding candidates in t...The Alberta Party is also fielding candidates in this election. Some of the things he's said and done, like the Bin Laden thing, are just kind of...awkward. He also seems to be too much of a pro-Quebec candidate to really take the party to the national stage and give it a fighting chance at actually forming government. Nonetheless, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt until he proves otherwise.ATraynorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17667481753647148053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-12696075687218679702012-03-25T18:06:43.017-07:002012-03-25T18:06:43.017-07:00I am not sure if it is as much "New" Can...I am not sure if it is as much "New" Canadians, but young Canadians. I used to be proud to be a Canadian (30 years ago) now I am ashamed and embarrased. We have not had the intestinal fortitude to say this is Canadian and this is what we stand for.

Too many "new" Canadians have come to this country because it was "better" and then try to change it. Now it's not "better" just "different" and different is not necessarily an improvement and in fact in my opinion has led to the demise of what should have been the best.JEMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04982668808750760783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-18990510363076232002012-03-24T06:10:20.791-07:002012-03-24T06:10:20.791-07:00The NDP are only where they are because of Jack La...The NDP are only where they are because of Jack Layton and Quebec. I believe a solution more acceptable to arts students would be to simply increase government funding. We are, after all, living in the wealthiest of provinces. But that's a whole other kettle of fish, so to speak.

Also, which corporates would be willing to fund Arts? I'm sure there are some, but it's not as readily apparent as Business or Engineering, who would obviously benefit from, well, business and oil/gas corporations.ATraynorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17667481753647148053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4553645158585084944.post-23306314331147321752012-03-22T14:48:38.581-07:002012-03-22T14:48:38.581-07:00This bill was pushed through on a false fear of cr...This bill was pushed through on a false fear of crime.
